Ingredients
  • 2 pizza dough (use my recipe to make 2 14" pizzas)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • .25 teaspoons pepper
  • .5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • .5 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 16 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (or substitute mexican cheese blend)
  • 12 ounces pepperoni
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 425°F
  2. In a small bowl, mix together tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic, onion, oregano, 1 teaspoon of rosemary until combined
  3. On a floured surface, punch out dough into 2 14" rounds
  4. Brush olive oil onto 2 rimless baking sheets
    If using rimmed baking sheets, flip them over so the heat gets to the crust evenly.
  5. Transfer each dough round to the baking sheets
  6. Brush olive oil liberally onto each dough round paying special attetion to the outer edge
  7. Evenly spread sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni onto each dough round
  8. Sprinkle remaining rosemary on top, paying close attention to the outer edge
  9. Bake until crust is golden brown and cheese it melted - about 20-25 minutes.
  10. Cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
